 USPAA-1 V5 Triggering Sensor

The automatic triggering-signalling device for fire extinguishing installations USPAA-1 V5 is designed to protect objects by issuing warning light/sound signals and trigger the fire extinguishing system. This two-level monitoring and triggering device is using thermal as well as optical fire detection by monitoring the temperature on two levels with heat sensor where first level triggers alarm and second level triggers activation. Also the optical sensor monitors the spectral components of low-frequency oscillations of infrared radiation characteristic of an open flame, recurrently compares the data with a prior given images representing the normal state of the protected object and typical fire development, classifies the fire situation according to its development level depending on the degree of their coincidence. The functions are following: “Normal”, “Fire”, “Start”, “Accident”.

It can be connected to any Tungus fire extinguishing module for stand-alone automatic detection and extinguishing of fire.

The device is manufactured for operating temperatures ranging from –60°C up to +75°C.

The maximum viewing angle is 120°. The detection range of the test fire spot with a burning area of 1.07 ft2 is up to 20 ft.

This device is powered by three “AA” batteries which last up to 10 years in Standby mode.
